 A Closer Look

This piece was inspired by Jim Henson's Netflix series "The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance ". Dark Crystal is a movie from my childhood and to see a new creation from Henson was inspiring indeed!  This swag lamp hangs from the ceiling with a butterfly hook. Made to resemble the dark crystal shard, with deep purple glass around the top, cranberry throughout the middle and fiery red at the bottom. I chose to light this lamp up with a purple light bulb because i love how the purple glow changes the glass.
